CBD Vape Cartridge
While the use of e-liquid and vaping is rising, not all cartridges are made equal. A CBD vape cartridge can be pre-filled or you can fill it yourself. It may take you time to choose the right cartridge. However, as soon as you find it, you can be treated to a vaping experience that’s both enjoyable and beneficial to your health.
Some brands selling vape cartridges may claim that their cartridges can be refilled. Technically, while some CBD cartridges can be refilled, they can fail after about 150 to 200 draws. Thus, these cartridges can only be used for the short term, and calling them refillable would be erroneous. Many devices using cartridges that are disposable have USB charging, which is an advantage if you’re traveling.
Choosing the Right Cartridge
When choosing the right CBD vape cartridge, you need to consider a few criteria including potency, source, ingredients, production, and price.
Potency. Strength should be the first thing you consider when getting a vape cartridge. CBD counts vary drastically, and users may need higher CBD doses to offset the tolerance that comes with constant use.
Source. The best CBD cartridge makers use the more expensive yet purer carbon dioxide extraction method. As the hemp plant can absorb metals and toxins from the soil, such substances can sneak into the oil without a good-quality extraction procedure.
Ingredients. Like looking into a food product’s ingredients, you also need to do the same for the CBD vape cartridge you’re considering. Some cartridges may have pure hemp oil, whereas other cartridges contain other agents like PG (propylene glycol).
PG is used in nicotine-based e-liquids to help recreate the puffy experience derived from smoking conventional cigarettes. PG is also not necessary when you buy CBD cartridges, so you can get a product without PG.
Production. Know whether your cartridges are made with pure CBD (oil with other cannabinoids, compounds, and terpenes – except THC), or if the manufacturers instead have added artificial chemicals.
Price. Price is also important in getting the right CBD vape cartridge. For example, a $30 50mg cartridge offers better value than a $20 25mg cartridge, since the cost/mg for the 50mg CBD cartridge is lower.
